History

The State Room was originally part of a movie theater built in 1931.  In 1980, it was converted into a social hall.  The original decor from the theater was used when the hall was restored to what you see now.

Features of the Hall

Overall capacity for the Stateroom is 410.  The main hall seats 360 guests and the bar area seats 50.

 

A 900 square foot parquet dance floor surrounded by carpet.

 

Raised stage area 20’ x 10’ accommodates DJ, Band, Head table, or Toasts.
 

Plentiful parking in the downtown area of South San Francisco.
 

Use of rectangular tables and upholstered chairs is included.  Round tables are available for an additional fee.
 

House speaker’s podium and PA system.



​An elevator at the rear of the building.

 

A full commercial kitchen that can be used by you or your caterer. It includes an 800 pound capacity ice machine, freezer, commercial refrigerator and Wolf stove with double oven, griddle, six burners, and a stock pot stove.

A commercial dishwasher is available on request.
 

Staff member on the premises or available during your event.
