We require a $400 deposit to book a date. The deposit remains refundable up to seven months before the event. If you book a date inside of the seven month window then your deposit is refundable only if the date is rebooked. In such applicable cases any refunds are issued only after the newly booked event occurs.
There is a refundable $300 cash security deposit required on all events. The security deposit is due no later than two weeks before the event. On all public events the cash security deposit amount is at our discretion and in some cases will increase.
We only book the hall for one party per day. You have the use of the hall from 9AM until 12 midnight. You may go past midnight, either with the party or caterer cleanup, at $60 per hour, which is payable to the custodian before leaving the premises.
Security Requirements
The Police Department wants to have knowledge of all gatherings of over 50 people in rental halls. We will be happy to assist you in filling out the form they need. Under certain circumstances the Police Department might require security. If they do, Charles Security is under contract to us to provide security when needed at $30.00 per hour per guard. In some circumstances the Police Department will require officers to be the security for the event.
